We created a scraper that can extract lyric content from a source, cleanse the content from styling and ads, and then make that data immediately available to the lyric website. The scraper allowed scraping all songs by an artist or by a category. All songs were grouped by Artist and then by Album.

An administration section was provided to run the scraper as well as provide a way to do inline editing and adding of content. This scraper also allowed setting a Proxy URL to scrape through.

On the public side, one search field would provide a custom algorithm based result, searching across artist, album, song title, and song lyrics at one time. Results were matched based on both partial and exact, highlighting the results.
